PALO ALTO, CALIF. – Oct. 11, 2018 – ScyllaDB, the monstrously fast and scalable NoSQL database company, today announced the full agenda for ScyllaDB Summit 2018, a technical conference for ScyllaDB and Apache Cassandra community members, users, and developers from big data technologies. Taking place November 6 and 7 at the Pullman San Francisco Bay Hotel, the event will kick off with keynotes from Vijay Velusamy, Senior Director of Software Development and Engineering at global media giant Comcast; Aravind Srinivasan, Software Engineer at ride-hailing pioneer Grab; and Martin Strycek, Engineering Manager at leading online travel agency Kiwi.com, as well as insights from ScyllaDB executives.

Attendees at ScyllaDB Summit will learn from data architects and developers building real-time applications at massive scale. In addition to Comcast, Grab, and Kiwi.com, speakers at the summit will include developers and engineers from Confluent, Child Rescue Coalition, Discord, Faraday Future, Google, GPS Insight, Kong, Proofpoint, Natura, Nauto, Numberly, Red Hat, Sensaphone, Sizmek, and Yahoo! Japan. Other sessions, hosted by ScyllaDB’s development team, will cover new ScyllaDB products and capabilities, tips and tricks, and deep dives into ScyllaDB’s integrations with Kafka, Spark and Kubernetes, and much more.
